Ah, no wonder I suddenly feel so alone recently. Might as well take advantage of it then. Time for reflection..

I don't get it. Saw it elsewhere too and didn't know what this means. What does this mean?

It means that the planet mercury, from our apparent point of view on earth, slows down in it's progression through the vectors of the zodiac in our sky and begins to move backwards for a while. This is said to have an effect on communication of all kinds, in particular interpersonal communication. Now, do I believe this is some kind of absolute truth? Not exactly, but I do believe that astrology offers an interesting framework for exploring different configurations of experienced reality. As such I choose to put on my "astrology glasses" sometimes and see where that takes me.

True- and something related. When I was in nursing I remember the veteran nurses always dreading the full moon because all of the elderly patients would misbehave/go nuts. And it really did happen. Any explanation for this? In fact I see it a lot in my elderly family members too!

Full Moon; I used to notice that same thing in the restaurant & bar business. And it always happened so there must be something to this. I remember one night in particular, whatever could go wrong did go wrong. Someone asked if there was a full moon and sure enough there was. Whenever there was a full moon we could fully expect difficult cutomers, people acting looney

I wonder if this has any bearing on addiction/relapse/cravings? I'm gonna pay close attention for the heck of it. Well, if they die down bc they sure are coming on strong now (2weeks off subs). But still - would be interesting to see if there is a relationship.
