Just wanted to get this thread going again...don't feel like re-typing everything yet. It was two weeks yesterday. I hope anyone that tries this for detox can post here.

    Jessica :)

There is a cure/resolution for ALL opiate addiction that is virtually free and nothing needed for prescription and works.
Here it is again for all to read. plaeas could you pass on to all people. It works.

It is probably the most important study for opiate addiction that has been carried out, yet it was swept under the carpet by chief medical advisors who were on back hand pay off's from the drug companies to ignore the study and proceed with the methodone program.

PLEASE EVERYONE READ AND TRY THIS - IT WORKS IF CARRIED OUT PROPERLY WITH NO WITHDRAWALS. YOU MUST USE THE CORRECT AMOUNT AND SEE IT THROUGH. yOU WILL BE SLEEPING IN 2 DAYS NORMALLY. REMEMBER ASCORBIC ACID (PURE VITAMIN C) OR SODIUM ASCORBIC(ANOTHER FORM OF VIT C) REMEMBER YOU MUST TAKE IT EVERY 4 HOURS IN THE MASSIVE DOSES STATED.

This is a report from 1977 that was covered up for the promotion of methodone rather than the valid results of the test. My girlfriend who has supported me for years of hell found and researched it. It must be published, I thank her for this.
Please make sure that everyone you know reads this full report and method for the detox for every single drug. IT WORKS

Drug addictions, like cancer, are terrifying conditions to the victims because of the feelings of hopelessness and abandonment generated by the rigors of and general failure of the orthodox “treatments.”

Although crude opium addiction has a very long history, the large-scale addictive use of morphine salts, in this country, is generally dated from their use on wounded Civil War soldiers.

Following 1864, morphine addiction was realized to be an emerging socially significant problem in this country; therefore searches were instituted to find less addicting drugs.

The year 1890 saw the introduction of heroin.

For decades, to the year 1912, nothing was done to stop the rising tide of morphine and heroin users in this country. The realization of that fact prompted in that year the organizing of legal opiate clinics, not however to treat the addict, only to support the user’s habit in an attempt to stem the rising crime rate and sales of black market drugs.

These legal opiate clinics remained open until 1924 when they were closed down as dismal failures. It took until the mid-1950’s, another fallow period of about 30 years, before another major attempt started, the Methadone Program, which has continued up to the present. This program embraces the concept of orally giving a legally addicting drug (methadone) in place of an illegal addicting drug (heroin).

The lack of success in handling drug addiction, until now, is due to placing the emphasis on the legal aspects of the problem, mainly that of the crime and punishment concept, and ignoring the mental and physical condition of the addicts and neglecting to treat the health and metabolic problems
    of the victims.

Drug addicts suffer from severe metabolic dysfunctions and are very sick people. Any attempted solution to the drug addiction problem which fails to bring total health back to the addict is doomed to failure.

Drug Addiction and the Genetic Disease, Hypoascorbemia

Drug addicts, like other humans, are born carrying a defective gene for the synthesis of the liver-enzyme protein, L-gulonolactone oxidase (GLO).

This birth defect (Stone, 1966) causes a potentially fatal, but now readily correctable (Stone, 1967) genetic liver-enzyme disease, Hypoascorbemia (Stone,

    Spark,

It worked wonders for me personally. Not sure if it will for everyone though. Hopefully when others try it they can post their experiences. My whole experience got deleted when the site crashed, but I never had any bad w/d's. Just low appetite, bathroom issues, and lethargy. Acupuncture has helped a great deal with giving me a jump start. I have detoxed many times, and my personal experience with the S.A. in combination with acupuncture has been a very easy detox. When I felt any w/d's, I would take more S.A. and feel better within 10 minutes. I take a little bit of the S.A. and A.A. occasionally now, but days I don't take it at all. Good luck, and I hope you try it. (I was taking about 200mg of Vicodin when I started detox, and was on and off opiates about 3 years)

I was following your thread before and wondered how it had gone for you...I knew that some people were wondering about days 4-5 and how that went. I'm glad it worked so well...

It's been over two weeks now, and I am doing very well. Better each day. I wake up not feeling lethargic, etc. I get my lazy and tired moments, but nothing bad. I just listen to my body and do what it feels like. Most of the days I am busy now, much more productive than when on opiates. It's great to have that zest for life again! I have finally gotten back to my old self again, and that was my ultimate goal to achieve along with being opiate free. [:p]

I am curious to know what happened to the other member(can't remember name), the friend and her husband you were helping with an SA detox. If I recall it wasn't going so great for them.

I just wanted to post that this *is* real and has been studied somewhat. I did a quick search of the medical literature here:

    http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/entrez/query.fcgi?cmd=Search&db=pubmed&term
    =sodium+ascorbate+opiate+withdrawal&tool=fuzzy&ot
    =sodium+ascorbate+opiate+withdrawl

    An overview of one study:

"Ascorbic acid at doses of 300 mg/kg b.w/day, supplemented with vitamin E (5 mg/kg b.w/day), " (or about 21g/day for a 160 lb man) "may ameliorate the withdrawal syndrome of heroin addicts".

Interesting. I'm still feeling crappy after 1 week off suboxone -- but have used a few Ultram for pain. Got to wondering if this will help get be through the last phase, but was uncertain of dose.

    Found this on Wikipedia:

    =========
from 3000 mg to 200,000 mg per day based on a protocol described by Robert Cathcart [2] knowns as a vitamin C flush wherin escalating doses of Vitamin C are given until diarrhea develops, then choosing the highest dose that does not cause diarrhea (bowel tolerance threshold). High doses (thousands of mg) may result in diarrhea, which is harmless if the dose is reduced immediately. Some researchers[2] claim the onset of diarrhea to be an indication of where the body’s true vitamin C requirement lies. Both Cathcart[2] and Cameron have demonstrated that very sick patients with cancer or influenza do not display any evidence of diarrhea at all until ascorbate intake reaches levels as high as 200 grams (? pound).

Angie and her husband did the S.A. but they ended up back on oxy. Angie said that there were times when she had no w/d's, just bathroom issues, (which is normal with the S.A.) but I was trying to encourage her to take more. Her habit was by far more than mine was, plus she was snorting them. She said that she is going to do the S.A. again when they detox next time, which will probably be soon. So since she is going to do it again, it must have worked in some ways. I need to call her to get more details. I was hoping she would post about it. I just want to make sure that whatever I post is accurate, and I am just going by what I remember. I think I will encourage her to post. All I can say is that she called me when she felt really bad, and I finally convinced her and her husband to take more S.A., and they felt better after. I will keep you all posted. Just been very busy lately. If I ever have a bad day just feeling tired, I take about 3-5 grams for a pick me up. It's awesome stuff!

Mine came with a scooper in my tub, and each rounded scoop is a gram. It depends on your habit, but I had to take at least 30 grams, which is on the low side. You have to take it every couple hours the first couple days, then every 4 hours after that. Sorry, I haven't been posting much, just really busy. It's been 3 weeks today. Anyhow, good luck, and if you read the article, it should tell you everything. I found that when you drink milk with it, it absorbs better. Hope it works for ya!

orthomolecular overdosing of vitamins is quackery. before anyone contemplates taking toxic doses of any vitamin, seek advice from a qualified health care provider.

I don't think that you can accurately show that vitamin C doesn't help with WD's by showing that it does not help cure cancer. The main element it the curing of WD's. You cannot replace that with cancer?? I can see maybe replacing sodium ascorbate with ascorbic acid and hold the results valid but WD's and cancer are very different sicknesses.

if you read the first post of this thread then you will see that it claims that vitamin c in overdose cures cancer. the rest of the claims are false as well. the claims are that vitamin c in whatever form cures cancer so therefore it cures withdrawal. this is outrageous. it is the opiate/opioid receptors that are down regulated from being tolerant to opiates/opioid and this has nothing to do with vitamin c deficiency. read the entire thread.

I can't endorse vitamin C for WD's but I think I believe it. Not because of anything to do with cancer but because of studies that I've read about animals in WD given Vitamin C. I agree that there is no logic in saying that b/c vitamin C cures cancer, it therefore cures WD's. I do believe that if it helps animals with WD's it can probably help humans as well. Not to say that it's safe.

It worked wonders for me! No sweats, no restless legs, no insomnia, no laying in bed all day. I was out of bed the whole day on day one. I am not saying that it will work for everyone, but it sure did for me. I have to think that taking massive doses of a vitamin is much healthier than taking massive doses of opiates. I hope someone tries this soon, and posts about it.
