First I would like to say that my opinion on this is subutex is better than suboxone...does anyone here feel that using Boxone causes depression and stops working well after about 3 months or so?...texs don't have an additional chemical(+1): in my opinion, they don't require as much to get desired effect, and lastly texs don't have 2 drugs that counteract each other. I mentioned in a previous thread that doctors, advocates of suboxone and even the official Sub website claim that very little of the naloxone is absorbed when taken properly. Well it seems if one is taking 2-3 strips a day over a long period of time that "very little" would start to add up therefore reducing the effects of the Bup.

I would say subutex is better. Why have the extra drug if it is not needed for you.

I think they both suck. Surely not harm reduction.

i just find the longer you stay on suboxone the less effective it becomes along with somewhat severe mood changes due to the nalaxone...taking subutex over the same period of time doesn't effect my mood and can be maintained at a lower dose. Over time it seems the nalaxone builds up in your system and blocks the effect of the bupe.
